Rocket 88 & The Rockettes invite you to an evening where the past and the present meet through music. The evening begins with a tribute to the roots of the blues---the music that laid the foundation for the bands journey. With passion and infectious energy Rocket 88 & The Rockettes transport the audience to Chicago blues clubs and the American South through timeless blues classics performed with the spirit and feeling that have made the band a favorite both in Sweden and abroad. After the intermission a new chapter begins. The second half of the concert focuses on the bands original songs. Here you will hear music developed in recent years---inspired by the blues but with a distinctive style where rock soul and Americana converge in stories about life dreams and experiences. It is music with the same soul as always yet with a voice of its own.
